Turn off sent message notification on Windows Mobile 6 device

Does that little popup confirmation that says a text message was successfully sent piss you off as much as it did me? Well your in luck, its very easy to remove!
First you will need a registry editor installed. You can get one here. Once you have the registry editor installed and running, just follow these instructions:
- Goto: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoft
- Click on Inbox and select Edit -> New Key
- Name the New Key as "Settings"
- Click on "Settings" and select Edit -> New String Value
- On "Value name:", enter SMSNoSentMsg and in "Value data", enter 1
- Soft reset your device and test it out. No more annoying popup!

Thank you for the regedit tip on clearing the notifier when sending text messages. THANK YOU!!!
I have a follow up question
1. I actually like the pop up so that I know it has been sent, but I don't like the vibe alert I get when it comes up. To get rid of that, I need to turn off the notifier for incoming texts and then I don't know I have them. Can I just turn off the vibe and still have the popup so I can text quietly in meetings?
2. Can I reverse what I did to turn the alert back on by deleting the new key I added or do I need to set it to a different number?
3. Is there a place that shows what these KEYs control and what tey do when you change them as you have done with this feature?
Thanks,
Mike

In Windows Mobile 6.1, you need to go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\INBOX and create the SETTINGS key.

I am running WM6.1 on a touch phone. If a text message fails to send, I get a pop up saying "Text message could not be sent" and this prevents incoming messages from being received.
How can I stop that pop up from being displayed?

Ji
This is the same problem on my Mogul
It prevents new messages from being received
Have you found a solution yet?
Thanx

I have the same problem on my HTC Touch HD. There must be a registry tweak that can disable the message.
Thanks in advance,
