Mccain infers that Palin is retarded!
Here is a video of Mccain inferring that Palin is retarded. Now I understand why so many republicans quote-mine.. Its just too much fun!
In the actual debate, Mccain mentions parents bringing children with Autism to rallies. Palin has a child with Down syndrome and so Mccain says Palin knows about having a child with Autism more than most (assumedly he meant more along the lines of having a special needs child unless he confused Down Syndrome with Autism). With feeling somewhat like an ass for laughing at the expense of mentally handicapped, I could not help but to chuckle at the way his words flowed together in a way that could very well be interpreted as Palin personally having mental disabilities. This video slices this moment together for a quick and crude laugh.
