So what is the deal with this ACORN scandal?
Its very likely that you have heard at least something regarding this organization known as ACORN. I often see comments online of people talking about Obama paying ACORN to commit voter fraud to get him elected. Here is a video clip of CNN investigative reporter Drew Griffin who explains exactly whats going on and how republicans, like always, are completely twisting the facts for their agenda of brainwashing the stupid masses who worship the GOP unwaveringly.
To sum it up, ACORN hires people and pays them to go out and get people registered to vote; they get paid a certain amount of money for every signup they make (much like a salesperson gets commission). As with all easy money-making opportunities and salesperson positions, there are people who are lazy and want to cheat. So what they do is get hired by ACORN, and then create a whole bunch of fake registration forms so they can collect a quick buck. THESE REGISTRATION CARDS DO NOT EQUAL VOTER FRAUD! As Drew says in this video, the likelihood of actually committing voter fraud in this fashion on a large scale would be nearly impossible.
