Do you blog?

It seems nowadays everyone is blogging online to some degree rather it's on their social network profiles such as myspace or facebook, or if they have their own domain running some free blogger software like wordpress. If you dont already blog, here are 5 reasons why you should!

1. Improve your writing - Blogging allows you to develop your own writing style and could help improve your overall writing ability, especially for those who hated going to English class and didn't take it seriously.

2. Release your creativity - Often times people go through the better part of their lives ignoring creative impulses because as we grow up from kids, we are taught to think inside the box. When blogging you have no limits imposed on your creativity; so let your thoughts run wild!

3. Profit potential - One of the big driving forces behind the blog explosion, is the potential to earn real money by doing it. Do you see the google ads on the bottom, to the side, and within this page? Everytime someone happens to click on them, I get a profit share from google that is paid by the advertiser being clicked on! There are many advertising platforms available for you to earn from, but google adsense, at this time, is by far the most used and is the easiest to earn with.

4. Life journal - A blog is an excellent way to keep a record of your day-to-day activities. A frequently updated blog could become a nice memoir that you can look back on in the future. The difference between a blog and a diary of course is that it is public which means you can keep your friends and family updated regardless of physical location! Just keep in mind that once you post something on the internet, it has somewhat if a permanence to it, so don't write something that might be self-incriminating or embarrassing.

5. Make new friends - By becoming an active member in the "blogosphere", you will find yourself making contacts with new people you would have otherwise never new existed. Blogging gives you an excellent platform for making new friends and becoming part of a community.
