Tip of the day: Middle clicking link to open in new tab

Give Your Browser The Middle Finger!

One really neat thing with modern browsers is the ability to open multiple sites in just one browser window by using tabs. One thing that you might not know, is that you can middle-click (by pressing the scroll wheel on your mouse) on links to have them opened in a new tab.

This little trick can save a lot of time for repetitive tasks that require to yo go back to a list of links after every page view. For example lets say your browsing a list of new articles. Instead of clicking on an article link like normal, which would then take you away from the page containing the links, you just middle click and view the page in a new tab. Then you can switch back to links page by clicking its tab.
